This tenor features beautiful rose gold plating and gorgeous Selmer SBA-inspired engraving customary on TM saxophones. It plays with excellent response through all registers and has a warm, resonant, and buttery tone. This saxophone also has a great flexibility both in its pitch and tone color, allowing it to feel at home in both classical and jazz idioms. It has a rich sound at both quiet and loud dynamics; reminiscent of vintage Selmers as intended by Tenor Madness. It comes stock with Pisoni pads and seamless domed nickel-plated resonators. The horn feels great ergonomically, with excellent key fit and action.
 
This tenor may also be purchased with an additional “GT” neck from Tenor Madness (modified unlacquered Eastman 52nd street neck).  The GT neck offers a mellow, warm tone with excellent low response and subtone, and we feel it pairs especially well with this tenor.  

We are offering this particular 500SL at a $195 discount due to a couple extremely minor blemishes (this tenor has been demoed at a handful of trade shows).
